June 29th Big storm

We had a awful storm today.  We got winds up to 80mph and it took down tree limbs, my chimney cap, and knocked the power out.  3 days with no power and some people didnt get power for another 2 days.  IT was miserable.  there was no air movement and the humidity was sky high.  thank goodness for the neighbors they kept my frozen food so I didn't lose any of that considering I just went grocery shopping.  The boys hated every minute of it as well since there was no tv or video games.  but I did get to break out all of our board games so I taught them how to play a bunch of new games :)

Owen had a wonderful day!!  He got lots of neat toys and clothes.  He also got to spend the entire day with my family swimming in the pool.  I am so happy we have such wonderful family members.  They love our boys to death.  It was a great day to spend with family!!  Happy Birthday Owen.  It is hard to believe that you are 10 yrs old already.  Seems like yesterday you were learning how to crawl :)  Daddy and I love you very much!  Ashton too!!

Playing in the pool again.  We sure do love to swim :)  I am enjoying all these moments because no matter how much they drive me nuts sometimes I know there will come a time when they won't want to hang out with me but instead they will want to be with friends.

June 15th Englewood fun center

While Justin was home for a week before he went to Afghanistan we took the boys to Englewood fun center to spend the day was a family.  We had a great day even thought it was unbearably hot out.  Justin and Owen got a hole in One unfortunately Ashton and I had no such luck.  then we went out for lunch.  We will miss him terribly while he is gone but we appreciate what he is doing for us!!  We love you Justin!
