July 29th
The boys swimming in the pool . They were playing with Owen's halo guys and pretending they were battling some type of giant sea monster. I could sit and listen to them for hours. They make up some of the greatest little stories. Time is flying by so fast and before I know it they will be going off to college or getting married.
July 26th Hail storm
So today we had another thunderstorm. Lots of lightning and thunder and then low and behold we had some giant size hail. It is amazing how it can be so hot outside and still huge chunks of ice fall from the sky. You can see in the top picture the hail shooting towards the ground. The bottom two pictures are pieces of hail the boys found in the front yard!
July 23rd Party at the Bradys
Owen and Evan.... Superheros in the making
the kids hanging out
Everyone has been on the go and so busy this summer and with the heat being so bad, Meegan thought she would have a little get together so everyone could just sit down and relax and have a few drinks. It was really great to see everyone and just chat about what has been going on. Not too much longer and the kids will all be going back to school!!
July 17th
this is how this cat sleeps 90% of the time. His little front paws twitch like he is chasing something. George is a trip for sure. He is getting so big!
Owen built a lego pyramid for his guys to fight on. He had a whole scene set up later in the day but wanted a picture of his lego pyramid before the aliens destroyed it :)
July 12th Slip and Slide
The neighbors invited the boys over today to play on their slip and slide. The kids had a blast seeing who could slide the longest. Miss Meegan even put a tarp at the end so they would have farther to go and most of them could make it all the way down to the end of the tarp and into the grass. Oh the things kids find fun.
July 11th saw this on Pinterest
I saw this idea on pinterest. I did not have a heart punch but I did have a small balloon so I wanted to see what happened. It would be cool for like a birthday card or album. Pretty neat idea!
