Well it looks as though it is going to be nasty and raining for the next few days. We got spoiled this weekend with the weather in the 80's and swimming in the pool. Speaking of the pool.... we are making tons of progress. We almost have the bottom totally cleaned so hopefully it will clear up. We are looking for a cover and some more toys for the boys to use while they are swimming. It is a working progress but we are enjoying every minute. The boys even swam in it this weekend. Owen is a little waterbug and we had to drag him inside when the sun went down. He would live it if he could. Ashton loves it but it is still too chilly for him. He swam but not as much as Owen.
We laid the boards yesterday where we are going to plant our garden so if it is nice this weekend we are going to start on that. I have tons of veggies to plant so I am everything grows. My heart will be broken because I am so excited about planting my first garden. I don't have a green thumb so Ashley said she would help me and I have Leta & my mom on speed dial so I am sure they will be sick of me after this summer :) Wish me luck!!
If does continue to rain all weekend, we will be starting work on the basement. We have big plans for it. And by we I mean Justin has decided to turn it into a game room :) We have the dart board down there already but we are looking for a ping pong table & an air hockey table. Possibly even a pool table. We need to fix the dry wall the previous owners or the bank tore apart and finish the bathroom. Plus, we are tearing out the bar to replace it. So we have some work cut out for us. I will take some before & after pictures to post. As things come along.
Have a great week!!

Welcoming our newest member... KEIGAN Sullivan!!
Today was a very special day for our friends the Sullivans. They welcomed their third child (a little boy) into their family!! We are very happy for them and wish Casey a speedy recovery. We are looking forward to getting the kids together again this summer once mom & baby have time to get settled into a routine. He is adorable and so teeny tiny. Ashley & I took a road trip to Dublin where he was born so we could be with Casey on this special day. Thanks for letting us be a part of something so special and we are so happy to have a new addition to our little extended family. Congratulations again to the Sullivans!!

Yeah for Warm weather!!!
This weekend we had some wonderful weather so we took advantage. We started cleaning up the pool more and even got in to swim. Friday the water temperature was only 55 so needless to say it took your breathe away and you couldn't stay in for long. Saturday it was up to 62 and a little more tolerable. Today it was 65 and we spent the entire day swimming and cleaning up the bottom. We are still getting some algea out and trying to clear up the cloudiness but it is coming along quite well. The boys are having a blast and have made a giant list of all the toys they would like to have for the pool. Kick boards, snorkels, and more floaties are at the top of their list. They even helped Justin & Dustin load wood for our wood pile to make some money to help buy their pool stuff. And believe they won't let Justin forget that he promised them $2 each for helping. Everytime they see their dad they ask if he has their money yet :) Kids... you got to love em!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Darts!!
So today was a pretty nasty day with all the rain so we decided to head down to the basement to play some darts after Ashley finished my hair (thank you Ashley I love it!!) We played one game that lasted almost an hour and a half. Even Ashton threw a few. Most ended up in the wall but a few did manage to stick in the board. Then Dustin & Ashley fixed Monte Cristos for dinner. So fattening but really super yummy!! We had a great time and look forward to having many more game nights. That is as soon as we finish the game room in the basement.

Happy Easter
We celebrated Easter with an Easter Egg hunt with my parents at their house and then an Easter Egg hunt at the courthouse in town on Saturday morning. Then we headed out to Justin's parents to celebrate Easter with them. The boys got so much candy it was unreal. I think they have enough to rot their teeth all year long. The Easter Bunny was very good to them as well. I am just glad that is was warmer this year and NOT snowing. We had a great visit with Mamaw Leta & Papaw Chuck too!! It was just great being with our families during the holidays. Hope everyone had a great Easter!!
Coloring Easter Eggs
Friday afternoon the men folk surprised us and showed up 4 hours early. It was a wonderful surprise since we hadn't seen them in a week. They said they enjoyed the bachelor life but were glad to see us. They ate well and fixed up things in our house which was a relief to me (a few less things I have to worry about) The kids were excited to see their dads too!! Later that night we colored Easter Eggs for the Easter bunny. The boys had a blast and Ashton ended up with a few blue dots on his chest. You got to love a messy child.
More Indiana Fun
Thursday was raining so we had to find something to do inside. The boys played with their new toys and kept Cannin busy. Then Ashley and I made Lasgna Rolls for dinner and played cards with my mom. (after mom napped of course) I think the three of us ladies laughed all week long. I feel like I have never laughed so hard for so long in my life :) We had a blast playing cards with my mom. She is such a hoot!! Love Ya Mom:)
Touring Kentland
Wednesday we spent touring Kentland. Not that there is much to tour but since Ashley had never been there before the boys and I showed her the sights. Needless to say the trip lasted maybe 20 minutes but we had a great time. I was great being back home again and seeing the grandparents. I could not have asked for a better way to spend the boys Spring Break!!

Fun @ Grammy & Papa's house
We are having a great time here in Indiana. Mom & Dad are enjoying every minute with all the boys. Last night the boys went to spend the night with Mamaw Leta & Papaw Chuck. They were going to see Monsters vs. Aliens and I am sure the boys talked them into getting McDonalds for dinner. I missed them around here and it was really quiet without them but I am glad that they had time to spend with their grandparents. Oh!! It snowed last night (ughh) so I am hoping that it warms up a bit before our time here in Indiana is over.
Bounce World
Friday night Aunt Amber & Uncle Landon took the boys to Bounce Planet. It was a neat place. The boys had an awesome time jumping in all the different bounce areas. They didn't want to leave. Aunt Amber & Uncle Landon even got in some of the bounce areas with them. Then before we left they got tokens to play some games. They both ended up with 60 tickets to cash. They each picked out a parachute guy, 2 army men, & a rubber lizard. We had a blast!!
Road Trip
Well this past weekend Ashley & I packed up the kids and headed to Indiana to visit the grandparents during the boys Spring Break. Cannin was the most well behaved little man but my two children decided to aggravate each other (and me) the entire way to Aunt Ambers & Uncle Landon's house. I was so excited to see Amber & their new house. They have done a wonderful job fixing it up & they have not killed each other (yet) through the whole process. I will try & post some stuff throughout our trip. Hope you all enjoy!!
