Ashton & Isaac at the indoor track
Sunday Justin & Ashton headed to the indoor race track with Ashton's friend Isaac and his dad. Ashton did a great job riding and had loads of fun. Justin said that he did well on both the blue and the orange bike. He was a little scared at first but once he was out there and racing he was fine. He even got a little air and didn't fall :) I am very proud of him for being adventerous and trying new things (even though it scares me to death)

Coco Keys
Tonight we headed to Newark Oh to Coco Keys indoor water park. We had a wonderful time with the Wedeking & Brady families. We floated in the lazy river, played basketball, and headed to the water slides. I have to admit I was freaked out a bit but went down all of them. The one that is in the dark freaked me out the worse. Then Ashley & I got in the double inner tube and and went down the slide together. It was a blast. Ashton spent most of his time going down the slides. He is such a daredevil. No Fear for the one that is for sure. He would slide down the slides and then turn around and head right back up. Owen even went down the slides. He was the first one up there and to go down. I so did not see him doing it but he had fun. He started feeling yucking towards the end of the night so I think he is getting sick.
Happy 1st Birthday Cannin!
Saturday night we helped Canni B celebrate his first birthday. We are so happy that we could be a part of the little guys special day. He is such a great baby! It is amazing to think that this time last year we were braving the snow to head to the hospital to welcome him into our family! He got lots of cool stuff for his birthday and enjoyed a cupcake while everyone sang to him. Then he got down and played with his friends. It was a wonderful day. Happy Birthday Canni B! We love you!
Catching up
Thursday brings on our scrapbooking day as usual. Ashley made it back to Ohio from Texas this past week. So Cannin and mommy were a nice addition to our group. We missed them terribly while they were gone. It is nice to have a down day with the ladies just talking and scrapbooking. We always have such a wonderful time together.

Ashton riding
So Owen has been asking for a small 4 wheeler which we are having a hard time finding. Justin came across this dirt bike and got a great deal. So he gave Owen the option of keeping this orange bike, trading Ashton for the smaller blue dirt bike, or letting Ashton choose one of the bikes then O could sell the dirt bike for cash until we can find him a four wheeler. I think daddy was hoping he would keep the small blue bike so they all could ride together. Owen is a little scared of so we are working on it. So he let Ashton chose a bike as you can see he picked the orange one and now O is going to sell the blue one for cash to go for a 4 wheeler. We are having a hard time finding one for his size so if anyone has any ideas please let us know.
Wright State University Game
Sunday afternoon Meegan, Jamie, & I headed to the Nutter Center to watch WSU play Valpo. Our neighbor Jane is an alumni so she has free tickets and every once in awhile she gives us some. It was a nice way to spend a boring afternoon. The guys kept the kids and watched football while we had a couple hours to ourselves. WSU won the games was a plus and then after that we headed to the Waffle House for a hot chocolate and some grub. It was nice to just sit around and talk before heading home to fighting kids and grouchy husbands :)
Beer Tasting
Saturday evening after everyone thawed out, we headed over to the neighbors house for Chicken wings and beer. Meegan and I grabbed a few different beers for all of us to try. We picked them out by the name so it was a real surprise that most of them were blah. It was just an assortment of flavors from light to dark with some very unique names. The good news was everyone did find at least one that they did like. It was an experience and a great way to make some freakin memories as my husband likes to say. The kids had a blast too. They got to run around and play together which is nice for the parents because by the time you get your kids home they are spent.
4 Wheeler + Sleds+Friends=Fun
This past Saturday we spent the day out having fun in the snow! It was a blast! Dustin, Meegan and the kids came out with us for a little fun time in the snow. Justin got out the four wheeler hooked up a tow rope to the sled and off we went. The kids all couple a couple of turns then Meegan & I each took a turn. Not a great thing to do without snow pants and good boots. We froze parts that we didn't know you could freeze if you catch my drift :) Dustin took a ride in the sled and then he tried to snowboard but unforunately the snow was not right for that. Finally everyone was frozen solid so we decided to end in and warm up before our beer tasting event that night. Good times with great friends the only thing that was missing was Ashley and our little guy Cannin!! They are still with relatives!! HOpe everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Fun in the Snow
Well the snow started to fall here Wednesday night and continued all through Thursday. We got a couple of inches and it was enough to have school cancelled today. The neighbors invited us to come out and go sledding with them Thursday evening after school. We headed over to our neighbor Jane's house to go sledding down the big hill in her side yard. After an hour or so, we piled into Zane's car and headed to the local Metro park to go sledding down the big hill there. The boys had a blast. They would slide down the hill and then make the trek back up the hill to do it all over again. I even went down the hill with Ashton. We hauled butt down that hill and made it all the way to the end. The bad part was that I couldn't keep my feet on the sled so my heels drug a bit so by the time Ashton and I made it down the hill our faces were covered in snow. It was so much fun. I started snowing lightly again tonight so hopefully we will be able to go with Justin this weekend. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend!!
Our new family member....Steve
The day after my birthday Chainsaw disappeared. I let her out in the afternoon with Jake to go potty and she just vanished. I heard Jake barking and ran to the back door to let them in before they woke up Justin. As I got to the back door, I saw something bigger than Jake heading into the woods. I think one of the coyotes that lives in the woods behind our house got my baby girl. I was so upset... We searched for her for hours and nothing. She just vanished. Justin knew I was upset and so while we were gone, he went to the pound and rescued Steve. He fits in perfect with our family. He gets along great with Jake and the boys. He is still a puppy so we are working on him not chewing on stuff but other than that he is wonderful. I still miss my little girl Chainsaw and I will never forget her. Welcome to the family Steve.

Family Band
Mom and Dad dropped us off @ Uncle Trent & Aunt Amanda's house on New Years Eve so Justin could pick us up from their since he still had to do his gift exchange with them. The boys enjoyed playing all of Uncle Trent's musical instruments. They always have to take time to do their band practice when they get together with Uncle Trent. And this time when we visited Aunt Amanda and Uncle Trent had a new addition to their family... Izzy the bearded dragon. They were fascinated with her. They wanted to pet her and feed her. Ashton even kept trying to talk them into letting him take her home to which I totally refused :) He was really persistent about taking her home but Uncle Trent just wouldn't give in. (Thank You!) The boys also took time out to explore Aunt Amanda & Uncle Trent's Africa room. They love checking out all the masks and different items that they have collected. They love to try on the masks, play the different instraments, look @ the jewelry and pictures. I am glad that we got the chance to stop and hang out them for a bit! It was sad to have to leave so soon but hopefully we will see them again in the near future! Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year. I will post some pictures when I download them!
Fun @ Aunt Berb & Uncle Landons
On the 30 we headed on to Noblesville to spend the night with Amber before we headed back to Ohio. It was great to have a night to visit with Amber @ her house. Amber & Dad went and picked up Papa Murphys pizza (i recommend you try if you get a chance!!) for dinner. They boys ran around and played while Mom, Amber, Amanda and I played Catch Phrase. Amber and Amanda were on a team together and Mom & I were on a team together. Mom and I started off really slow losing 2 to 6 but came in strong @ the end for the win!! We were so excited! Uncle Trent and Dad sat and the kitchen table surfing the net and chatting away! It was a great way to spend our last night with the family!
