Sunday Ashton had is last practice on his dirt bike. He fell a couple of times but that is to be expected. He is still learning but with each practice he gets better and better. We are looking into getting him some new boots and waiting for him to decide on a number. Then I would like to have T-shirts made. So if anyone would like to support Ashton.... I plan on getting Tshirts next week hopefully!! This weekend will be his very first race @ Taylor Moto! We are very excited for him but I have to admit I am very nervous. I am glad to he found something that he is passionate about but I wish it was something a little less dangerous. I guess I am going to have to get used to that though. He has always been quite a daredevil. Good luck Ashton!!
Wedeking going away
This past weekend we had a going away party for the Wedeking family. Dinner at Mongolian grill was great despite the fact that our waitress had to do CPR on another patron! The Wedeking family are leaving us and heading back to Texas after Dustin separates from the service. We will really miss them but wish them the best of luck!! Us ladies have already been planning a trip to Texas for a moms weekend and I am sure the Winter family will make a trip to see them as much as we can :)
Game Night with the Girls
Last week the girls and I went to the Wright State basketball game. We had a blast like usual.... When the three of us get together we always have fun! I am very lucky to have two wonderful friends! It was a great game and Wright State won!! It was nice to get away from the husbands and the kids for a bit and enjoy some quality girl time :)
Steve & the Boys
Well I have been trying to get better about posting on the blog..... and we see how that has been going. It has been busy around here but I promise to keep trying. I just wanted to post some new pictures of the boys and of Steve. This dog cracks me up. He loves to sit on Ashtons spiderman pillow. It is hilarious. He wriggles in the seat until he is just perfect. The boys are growing up so fast and changing so much every day. They are enjoying school and doing well. Ashton has gotten into dirt bike racing so that fills up his weekends. Owen is getting ready to sign up for football. I am not sure that I like the sports that they chose but if it makes them happy I guess I'm okay with it. Justin is busy too with school and work. WE are all happy and doing well!!

NO MORE SNOW
Well this morning I woke up to another snow filled day. It looks as if we are in for more snow up to 10 inches over the next couple of days. Justin is on his second trip outside to clear off the driveway and the boys spent a couple of hours playing with the neighbors. I finished the last bit of laundry and have been watching movies. Tonight we are playing games, then homework, then off to bed just in case they have school tomorrow.
Valentines Day!
Happy Valentines to All!!
Justin and Ashton hit the track Sunday morning so Ashton could get in some more practice before the race at the end of this month. He is so excited and has really done well! We are excited to see him at his first race. Owen spent the day playing games with Dustin and Cannin while I did laundry and moved the boys rooms around. Now all we need are computer desks for the boys and their rooms will be complete.
Justin bought me a beautiful necklace for Valentines day this year but it didn't make here in time so it is suppose to arrive sometime tomorrow. I took him and the boys to get another controller for the PS3 and a new game. So they spent the rest of the day trying to beat the game. Justin also got some new pants which he desperately needed!
Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Valentines Day!

Oh the Snow!!
So this morning we woke up to a lovely white blanket covering everything. We had breakfast got the kids dressed and headed out the door to play for a bit. Meegan, Ashley, & I walked up our street taking photos while the kids headed over to Miss Jane's yard to slide down her hill. They hit the slope as they call it until they were frozen. Then it was back inside for some hot chocolate and macaroni and cheese.
Walking around the shops
We enjoyed walking around the little shops downtown. During the winter there are not as many open but it was still nice to get out of the cabin and walk around. I found a really cute scrapbooking store but the one we wanted to go to wouldn't open until March. I am excited to see how different it will look like in the fall.
Brown County State Park
Saturday we headed into town to walk around the shops but decided to take a small detour through Brown County State Park. It was beautiful to see the park snow covered. (We have also planned another trip there for this fall) I love taking pictures outdoors and the weather had cooperated some. It was not as cold as it had been the day before and the sun was shining. I hope you all enjoy the pictures.... It is really a great place!
Raw Hide Ranch
So last weekend I headed to Brown County IN with some girlfriends for a moms weekend. It was a blast ! We stayed at Rawhide Ranch. It was a beautiful place very rustic. We got to stay in the cabin instead of the bunk house so we had the entire place to ourselves. Angus the owners dog also became a fast friend. He would come up every morning for breakfast because he knew us ladies were suckers and would feed him. We brought tons of snacks, cards to play nertz, and some alcohol to help us unwind. Thanks to Meegan for the invite... I had a wonderful time!
