Jane, Me, & Meegan

Thanksgiving was great this year despite not being with our families. We spent it with some really wonderful friends who have been like an extended family to us. We did crafts with the kids, had an awesome dinner and drank 3 bottles of wine while playing cards. Who could ask for a better holiday!

Projects

Meegan and I learned how to make these cards @ Marcos! They are so much fun to make and really easy too. All you need is ink, hand sanitizer, stayz on ink, transparency paper and cardstock. We attached the transparency paper to the card with brads. So much fun!

Meegan taught me how to do these after she took a class. They are also a lot of fun. We made necklaces, pins, and magnets.

Homemade broach! This was another class we took @ Marcos. I love the make it take it classes!
This is Steve! He is wild and crazy but we love him to death (most days)
this is Harley! He thinks he is funny sticking out his tongue at me!
This is our old man Jake! He turned 10 this year so when he is not napping on the couch he is napping on the floor. Oh what a life :)

Owen smiling big for the camera. He just finished cleaning up his room and was heading outside to play. I thought I should take more pictures so I grabbed one of him before he went out.
Ashton sweeping up the popcorn he dropped while Steve tried to help :) I just swept and scrubbed the floors so he was not happy that I made him clean it up! Kids what can you do!

Our Boys

fiddling with my new flash

The boys were not happy about being my subjects but I was fiddling around with my new flash since my one on my camera burnt out. I had fun and I got a few neat pictures to use for our Christmas cards this year! It is hard to believe that this year is almost over. It seems like just yesterday we were opening up the pool and now we are looking forward to our first snowfall :)

What is it?!

So Justin and I were working in the yard last week cleaning up a bit for winter since the weather was nice when I came across this as I was going in the garage for the hammer.......

As always a huge thanks to the Brady family for once again throwing an awesome Halloween Party! We had a blast and partied all night long! Owen was so wide awake when he came home at 2am that he watched a movie before going to bed and I took poor Ashton home @ 1 am because he could barely keep his eyes open :) Hanging with good friends, having a few drinks, and playing games is the very best way to spend an evening! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends who are more like extended family!
