December 7th

We had our annual Christmas party with just us ladies. We had a lovely dinner at PF Changs and then did our gift exchange. WE all ordered something different for dinner put it in the middle and then everyone shared. It was nice to try something new and different. We had a wide variety to choose from like lamb, a dish in lobster sauce, mahi mahi, etc. It was just nice to get out and chat with the ladies.

The Brady family had their annual christmas party Saturday. The kids had some crafts to do after dinner then they got to open up their presents. They all were super excited to open their presents and I was so proud that not one child complained. The all got something that they wanted. Then they were sent down to the basement to hang out while the adults did their exchange. We had some exciting gifts. Mine however was stolen and I am pretty sure who took it. Sort of pissed about it but what can you do. Happy holidays!

November 29th

Our first snow of the year. So not happy to see it snowing but what can you do! It lasted all of 1 day then it warmed up to the 50s but it is going to get cold this weekend so we will see what happens :) I think it is beautiful even though I don't like to drive in it!

November 26th

The boys got to decorate their tree first! They were so excited to get the ornaments out and get their little tree up. We listened to some Christmas music on Pandora while they decorated the tree and I put up all my snowmen and our stocking. Then since we were in the Christmas spirit we watched our favorite Christmas movies.... Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story :) Oh how I love this time of year!

November 24th

November 23rd

Enjoying a warmer day outside playing. The weather has been so weird this year. We have some warm days then freezing days some rain then it warms back up again. It is any wonder everyone is sick all the time. I am enjoying it though don't get me wrong. I am totally not looking forward to the snow. I will be happy if it doesn't snow at all. Maybe for Christmas but thats it :) It can stay warm as long as it wants to.

The ladies know how much i love snowmen so they bought me snowmen marshmellow kits for hot chocolate. They were delicious and so cute that I had to take a picture. Thanks lady for a wonderful bday present! The boys and I enjoyed them on our movie night :)

November 18th Owen's math class

Mrs. Marvins math class is making wampum. Wampum is money that Indians used to use as money. Certain beads of certain colors represent different values of money. The kids had a great time making their wampum.... I liked the fact that they got a history lesson and a math lesson all in one.

November 18th

I have missed this lady so much! The ladies and I went out for my birthday to O'Charleys. We had a delicious dinner, I got some wonderful gifts, and had a great time catching up. I have some really wonderful and special ladies in my life. I am so lucky!! A huge thanks to Meegan, Jane, Jenn, Angie, Lori, Heather, and Cheri ( who couldn't make it that night but sent me bday wishes) You guys are the best!!

November 16th

Owen was so proud of his little planet characters in the car he wanted me to take a picture of them. They are cruising down the highway going on vacation. They are going to go surfing and collect secret coins :) He has such a great imagination!!

The kids had a double header tournament today. They played their little hearts out and came in second place for the season. We could not be more proud of this team. The came to every game practiced team work and gave it their all. The group had tons of team spirit! Way to go Titans you had a wonderful season!!

Saturday was the Brady's annual Halloween Bash! Lots of great food and friends. The kids had a blast playing, dancing and eating. The adults danced, played pool and hung around chit chatting. It was a wonderful time. It was a great night until I got sick. I have now been battling a sore throat for 3 days. To make matters worse now Owen is sick. Hope everyone else had a wonderful and safe weekend

The boys had a great time trick or treating this year. They each got a full bag of candy which they did not need by the way. They behaved and didn't fight once. Justin and I enjoyed being able to watch them trick or treat and catch up on our talking since he has been working so much over time lately we don't really have a chance to talk to one another. Hopefully he gets this new job soon. Keep your finger crossed that he finally gets approved by the FAA to fly. This job would mean the world to him. Hope everyone had a wonderful and scary Halloween!

October 30 Flag Football Tournament Game 1

And so the season is coming to the end. The boys have done such and excellent job this season we could not be more proud of them. Ashton has made some wonderful passes and Owen has taken tons of flags. We have won our first round of the tournament. Next weekend we will play our first game @ 1 and if we win (i should say when we win) that game we will play again @ 2. Way to go Titans you have had a great team this season and Thanks to the coaches for giving all the kids an opportunity to play. You guys are great! Go Titans!!

This year the boys did the whole process themselves. They cleaned out the pumpkin, drew their own faces, and cut out the faces. They even cleaned up their mess for me too! I am so very happy and sad at the same time. They take such pride in doing stuff on their own but it means that they are growing up when all I want them to do is slow down and need me forever :) Hope you enjoyed their pumpkins we sure did!

Youngs Dairy Pumpkin Patch 10-28

After school on friday we took the boys to youngs dairy to pick out their pumpkins and to see the animals. They were so excited to spend the day with their dad and I (and have a half day of school). We also went out to lunch @ Big Boy. It was a great way to spend the day together having some fun and eating some great food.
