Sunday we headed to the Bradys for their annual Superbowl and Beer Tasting party. We had so many beers to chose from. Everyone that came brought a couple of beers for everyone to try. We each got a shot glass full and decided to which one we like best. We had a great time. Everyones pallet seemed to be different although this time we had a lot of dark beers to try (which is fine by me because I only like the dark beers) I don't really care much for football but I do enjoy the commercials. I think the little kid dressed as darth vader or the Safe Auto commercial were my favorites :)

Ice to snow

Last week was a loooong week. The boys had school Monday only due to all the ice we got Monday and Tuesday. Then Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday it snowed all day to add a nice new layer of snow to that ice. Our drive way is still a mess and it seems that no amount of salt seems to be helping. UGH! It is snowing today and looks like it is going to at least for the all day tomorrow and possibly tomorrow. So I hope that everyone is staying warm and safe out there!

Well I woke up this morning to a text saying NO SCHOOL due to weather. I get out of bed take a look out the window and what do I see...... tons of ICE everywhere. It is still sleeting as I sit here and write out this blog. We are suppose to get at least 1 inch but it definitely looks like we will be getting more. No major damage as of yet and we still have power so that is good. Right now we just have a few limbs down. Hopefully that is all the damage we suffer and maybe the weather will warm up instead of being in the low 20s. Hope everyone is safe out there with whatever weather you are forced to deal with.
