April 15th

Well to make life more interesting, I had to go to Texas Roadhouse in Fairborn again last night and have them fix my bill that they mess up. Now I am just waiting for all of that to reflect in my bank account. Needless to say next time I will be paying in cash. I can't believe that it took the Manager 20 minutes while we were in the restaurant to fix our receipts and then she ended up charging my account with 2 different orders! The funny thing is my ticket was the only one she got right and she still managed to charge me twice. Gotta love the smart people :) So I was a little miffed to say the least.
We also started the clean up in the back yard... Needless to say I have tons of sticks, chewed up toys (thank you Steve) and tons of poo (again thank you doggies) to clean up. Well we are part way there to getting it cleaned up and ready for this summer. We also did some wood burning to get rid of some leaves and sticks from around the yard. It is looking a little better now that the trash is picked up and I mowed at least where I could because we still have some standing water. If it would stop raining long enough for the yard to dry out I would be able to mow it all.
The boys had a great day yesterday... Owen stayed in his pajamas for most of the day and played games, Ashton came out and helped me do yard work only because he wanted to throw things in the fire pit and Justin tried to fix the boat. Then in the afternoon the boys got invited to go with Matt to Magic Castle. They had a blast and were gone until 10pm so Justin and I got to have a quiet dinner and catch up on some T.V. shows that we missed.... so besides the Texas Roadhouse fiasco it was great.

April 14th

Today turned out to be really warm so the kids played outside while Meegan and I did her front garden. She got beautiful wood trim with a golden yellow mulch to surround her flowers. I must say we did an excellent job. Then we moved some stones to do the front of our house and I transplanted some flowers to my front garden. Got some more to do so hopefully tomorrow will be warm and NO RAIN!! Keep your fingers crossed. I will upload some photos to so you the progress soon!!

Party @ Texas Roadhouse

This year we did Cheri's party @ her favorite place... Texas Roadhouse. It was a wonderful dinner and so nice to catch up with the ladies. We had sirloin steak, 2 sides, and the best cupcakes from Cold Stone Creamery! Happy Birthday Cheri wishing you many, many more!

April 12th

Yeah for warm weather. The boys had a blast playing outside with the neighbors. They played basketball, rode their bikes, rode their skate boards if it was outside they did it. I am happy to see warm weather so bring on summer.

Early Easter

My mom, dad, and Steve all came for a visit the first weekend in April. So while they were here we decided to do Easter with them. The boys got some candy, a toy, a shirt, and some playdoh from the Easter Bunny (Thanks Grammy and Grampa) so they were totally excited! We had a wonderful visit despite the chilly weather. It is always nice getting to spend time with family!

Both boys have outgrown their other bikes so this Spring we decided it was time to get them some new bikes that will hopefully last a couple of years :0) I am not sure if that will happen seeing how both of them are growing like weeds. Fingers crossed though!

Redoing some chairs

So I found these chairs in the garbage last year and I am finally getting around to stripping them. Getting rid of the pink paint and not sure yet what I am going to do with them. Justin and I have finally decided on what color to paint the kitchen so I just need to figure out how to incorporate these into the theme. Lots of changes coming to our house hopefully in the near future :)

Redoing my office closet

We took the closet doors off and put them in the attic. Then Justin put in some extra shelves so now all my crafting stuff is in on area and off my crafting table. It makes it alot easier to work on my scrapbooks. The was our start to our project list. Stay tuned for more house updates :)
