June 22

Well I finally got into to see the Ortho dr. and he said I am good to go for more intense therapy. I am now working on bending my knee 90 degrees by my next appointment in August. I am up to 70 degrees right now. I have more things to do at home and they even gave me some exercises that I can do in the pool for more resistance. So needless to say my therapy will be a little more intense and painful but I am ready to get rid of my crutches and start walking again. I can slowly wean myself off of them as I gain more strength in my leg and can walk fully on it comfortably. I will keep everyone updated on my progress as I go thru this. I would like to thank all my friends and family for being so supportive and helpful during this whole thing. I am very blessed to have some many people who love me! Thanks to you all!!

Tipp City Water Park

We spent the day @ a local waterpark and I have to say that for the price it was well worth it. The kids had a blast. The park had a regular swimming pool, 2 water slides, another play area that had a bucket the fills up with water and drops over the entire area and the framing for the structure has holes to let water shoot out from it plus another little water area that has a few water toys and water spouting up from the ground on a timer :) The park also had tons of seating in the sun or shade and a small concession stand that was reasonably priced. So I would have to give it two thumbs up. So if you are in the Dayton/Tipp City area definitely check it out it is worth the money to get the kids out of the house for a few hours.

Lego Projects

The boys decided to spend one night building different things with legos. Ashton made himself a cell phone since he is obviously too young for a real cellphone. Owen made a football stadium. His stadium even had some people in the stands. They have such a wonderful imagination! I am so proud of both of them.

July 4

Well I hate to say it but most of our posts lately have been about swimming. Since I am still in a brace and on crutches there is not much I can do with the boys. Generally we go out to the Metro parks and walk around to see the sights but like I said I am on crutches. The boys are enjoying their summer regardless and I am so very lucky that they love the swimming pool or I would be i heaps of trouble :) I hope you enjoy our photos! Have a safe and wonderful summer!
