Got the walls painted, the trim painted, and hung the new curtains for the patio so now the last thing to do is the floor. Justin and I are going to tackle that this weekend. Wish us luck! Can't wait to see what it will look like completely finished

The boys on their first day of 3rd grade. So excited and ready to hit the books. We will just have to wait and see just how long that feeling lasts. I am guessing not long :) Best of Luck boys and know we are proud of you no matter what!!

August 25 Bengels Game

The boys at their very first Bengels Game. The Bengels won and the boys had a great time. What a wonderful memory for all of us to share. So glad that Justin ordered the tickets to surprise the boys :)

This is what happens when you ride your bicycle without shoes on. I had been outside 3 times to tell Ashton to put shoes on his feet while he was riding his bike but he refused to listen. So about 10 minutes after the last time I went out to yell @ him, he comes inside with blood all over his foot. He was riding his bike and hit his green machine with his foot and tore his toenail almost completely off. It was gross but we cleaned it out and put ointment and a bandaid on it and he went back outside to play. The next day the nail came off and looked gross but he was a trooper and never cried.

August 20

Ashton riding his green machine just before the storm rolled in. It got really cloudy thundered and we had some lightning for all of 5 minutes. Just enough to annoy the boys, who had to stop playing and come in just to turn around and go back out to play.
