October 23

Well the boys lost their final game of the season but they had a great time and really that is all that matters to me. They go on to the finals next weekend. If they win both games they move on to the next weekend to finish up the tournament. Keep your fingers crossed that they can make it two more weeks. They have definitely played their little hearts out and done really well this season. they have both made tons of improvements. WE are so proud of our two :) Go Titans!

October 22

Daddy teaching Owen how to play chess :) I think he is finally getting the hang of it. I never did learn how to play so he said when he beats daddy he will teach me how to play :)
Ashton building his marble tower. He had this thing so tall that he had to finally get a chair to stand on just to reach the top. He was in his room for hours building this thing :0) I love that he is using is imagination :)

3rd Grade Cincinatti Zoo trip
October 2011

The boys had their first field trip of the year today. I was lucky enough to be able to be a parent volunteer with Meegan and Lori. We had a group of 12 kids that they took around the zoo to check out exhibits. We saw monkeys, gorillas, cougars, mantees, elephants, rhinos and so much more. The only bad thing was we didn't get to see every thing. The kids even got to feed a Giraffe as well as seeing a cougar feed. Time just seem to fly right by and before we knew it, it was time to get back on the bus. (Thank you Miss Meegan) I had a wonderful time and I am pretty sure the kids did too :) Thank you to the Teachers also for allowing me to spend the day with their classes and be able to escort my kids around. Great memories ;)

Justin and the boys trip to the metro park

Justin, his parents and the boys went to Englewood Metro Park to spend the day and take some great photos. I am sorry I missed it but glad that they had a great visit with his parents. They got some wonderful photos for me to check out :0) I am truly blessed to have a great husband that is very hands on with the boys. I love my family!!

Darrells Wedding

Justin and the boys went to Darrells wedding while I was on my mom's weekend. I am sorry that I had to miss it but I am glad they got to go and help the newlyweds celebrate their special day! Congrats to the Bride and Groom. We wish you many wonderful happy years to come :)

Oct 15th

Saturday we spent the morning walking around Brown County state park taking pictures. Then it was on to Abe Martin lodge to have some lunch and then shopping in Nashville's shoppes. It was so very crowded this weekend. It was hard to maneuver around all the tiny shops with some many around. I hit the ones I wanted to and then Cheri and I headed back to the car to rest while the rest of them shopped til they dropped. After we got back to the Ranch we made some cards, snacked and drank some more then had an early (or should I say earlier night) since they had to zip line and horse ride in the morning. But our trip would not be a success if we did not get yelled at for being loud. We had an older gentleman yell at us for being loud and tell us to go to bed like he was our father but the thing is he woke up the whole place by screaming at us. Oh Well! Memories right :0)

Girls Weekend October 2011
Rawhide Ranch

Friday we began our journey to our destination, Rawhide Ranch. On the way there we stop @ IHop for lunch, then an Amish Cheese shop to try a bunch of cheeses and homemade jams. When we finally arrived at our destination, we unpacked and headed into Nashville to Big Woods Brewery to have some dinner and sample their home brewed beer. Busted Knuckle (a dark beer) was my favorite! They had the best BLT ever and BBQ pulled pork nachos! It was nice to hang out with the ladies, have a few beers, and just let loose for a bit. Then it was time to head back to the Ranch. We hung out by the fire, climbed on the hay bales, had some more drinks and finally landed into bed sometime after 1am. What a great first night :0)

Oct 12th

Owen's 3rd grade class did leaf printing. They brought in a shirt, t-shirt paint, and collected 5 leaves. Then the kids painted the leaves and stuck them on their shirts paint side down. They held it there for a couple seconds then peeled off the leaves to reveal a leaf print. It was really neat and messy. The students had a blast and that is all that really matters!

Oct 9th pt 2

Justin and Ashton
Owen

Well the kids did a great job but we had our first loss today. It was pretty much back and forth all game this game. We would score then they would score but we ran out of time. Owen pulled some flags and he was diving all over the place. Ashton made some passes that led to some touch downs so that was great! I was on the edge of my seat the entire game. Great job Titans we will get them next time

Happy 1st Birthday Evalyn!!

She was more interested in playing with the paper and the bows instead of her presents. I think every child @ the first birthday is that way or at least mine were. They were content on playing with the paper and boxes instead of what they go :0)
Eating her birthday cake! It was delicious!!
Little E and her Aunt Manny!

Happy Fall!!

Fall is our favorite time of the year! The boys love Halloween, Trick or Treating, parties @ school and putting up the decorations. My personal favorite is the beautiful scenery! I just love when the leaves start changing and you get all the different yellows, oranges, & reds :0) Plus we get to have fires, roast marshmellows, and have hot chocolates which is also a great way to spend time with the family. I hope as the boys grown they will enjoy these things just as much as I do. I cherish every single moment that we create together as a family and I am so lucky to have them all in my life :) Hope everyone has a wonderful Fall Season!!

Sept 25

Way to go team! The kids played a great game today! They gave it their all and ended up with a victory! The Cardinals gave them a run for their money but our kids held tight and had some awesome plays. I am so happy that the boys enjoy playing sports! I think I enjoy the game just as much as they do :0) We are so very proud of you both Owen and Ashton! Way to go!

Sept 18
