Coach Brett, Coach Justin, Coach Zane
Ashley, Randa, Sean, Micheal, & Riley
Connor, Ashton, Matt, and Owen

The kids had a double header tournament today. They played their little hearts out and came in second place for the season. We could not be more proud of this team. The came to every game practiced team work and gave it their all. The group had tons of team spirit! Way to go Titans you had a wonderful season!!

Saturday was the Brady's annual Halloween Bash! Lots of great food and friends. The kids had a blast playing, dancing and eating. The adults danced, played pool and hung around chit chatting. It was a wonderful time. It was a great night until I got sick. I have now been battling a sore throat for 3 days. To make matters worse now Owen is sick. Hope everyone else had a wonderful and safe weekend

Leaves leaves leaves

Today after school we raked up the leaves so the boys could jump in them and as you can see so they could throw them at each other.

Happy Halloween

Owen the Alien
Ashton the Phantom
The boys had a great time trick or treating this year. They each got a full bag of candy which they did not need by the way. They behaved and didn't fight once. Justin and I enjoyed being able to watch them trick or treat and catch up on our talking since he has been working so much over time lately we don't really have a chance to talk to one another. Hopefully he gets this new job soon. Keep your finger crossed that he finally gets approved by the FAA to fly. This job would mean the world to him. Hope everyone had a wonderful and scary Halloween!

October 30 Flag Football Tournament Game 1

And so the season is coming to the end. The boys have done such and excellent job this season we could not be more proud of them. Ashton has made some wonderful passes and Owen has taken tons of flags. We have won our first round of the tournament. Next weekend we will play our first game @ 1 and if we win (i should say when we win) that game we will play again @ 2. Way to go Titans you have had a great team this season and Thanks to the coaches for giving all the kids an opportunity to play. You guys are great! Go Titans!!

Carving pumpkins

Their finished product
Owen and his pumpkin
Ashton and his pumpkin
Owen carving his own pumpkin this year (not without supervision)
Ashton carving his own pumpkin
gutting their pumpkins

This year the boys did the whole process themselves. They cleaned out the pumpkin, drew their own faces, and cut out the faces. They even cleaned up their mess for me too! I am so very happy and sad at the same time. They take such pride in doing stuff on their own but it means that they are growing up when all I want them to do is slow down and need me forever :) Hope you enjoyed their pumpkins we sure did!

Youngs Dairy Pumpkin Patch 10-28

After school on friday we took the boys to youngs dairy to pick out their pumpkins and to see the animals. They were so excited to spend the day with their dad and I (and have a half day of school). We also went out to lunch @ Big Boy. It was a great way to spend the day together having some fun and eating some great food.

My boys petting the baby calves. I love these guys more than anything in the world.

Ashton just loved petting the goats and feeding them. He is a huge animal lover like his Mamaw Leta.

Halloween Party

I am the room mom for Ashtons class this year so here are some pictures from his class party. (hopefully I will be able to update later with pictures from Owens party from Meegan) The kids came to school got into their costumes and then had their annual parade around the school. Following the parade we gave the kids some snacks (and some to take home) and passed out their project to do. Since it was a half day and the kids had to eat lunch before they could leave they got to eat some cookies and have a juice box. After they finished the treat and colored their monster or witch mask it was time for the parents to start cleaning up and heading out so the kids could get ready for lunch. It was a great success and the kids had tons of fun. Thanks to Mrs. Lyons and Mrs. Haer for allowing us to be a part of the day and Thanks to the children for being so well behaved!

October 27 Funky sock day

Ashton is sporting a skull sock and another sport sock
Owen is wearing a penguin sock and a turtle sock

October 26 Sweatshirt day

Today was wear sweatshirts to show that you are drug free and proud. The kids learned about different items that are drugs and why they are bad. I think it is great that they still do this program @ school to help the kids be aware of the effects of drugs and ways to handle situations with drugs.

October 24 Wear Red for drug free week

This week is drug free week @ school. Each day the boys have something different to do to signify that they are drug free. Today was wear red and sign the pledge to be drug free.
