Jan 20th Fun in the snow
The boys enjoyed their 5 day weekend this past weekend. It snowed a bit then it rained a bit. This weather is so unpredictable. Here are a couple of pictures from what little snow we had :)
January 13th Heather's Birthday Party
Happy 30th Birthday Heather!! The girls and I took her out to celebrate the big 3-0 at La Fiesta! The food was wonderful but it was so crowded we could hardly talk to one another. Meegan made everyone penis shaped cookies and treat boxes. The cake was a fantastic Carrot cake from Ele. Regardless of the loudness everyone had a great time especially the birthday Girl!!

December 31st
Happy New Years!! We headed next door to the annual Brady New Years party. The kids had fun running around and playing while the adults enjoyed beverages and games. The ladies and I played cards while doing shots and drinking chocolate banana smoothies. I had so much to drink that I ended up throwing up and passing out around 10pm so I did not even get to see the ball drop. Unfortunately that is what happens when I have too much Red Stag on top of Disarono, on top of Chocolate banana smoothies (which have 3 different types of alcohol in it) and some beer. I had a great time until everything started coming back on me!! But then again it only happens once a year :) Wishing you and yours a wonderful safe new year!

Today we went over to Aunt Bev and Uncle Franks for a visit. They are getting ready to move from the farm over to their new house in Sheldon. While we were there the boys threw down hay bales for me to stack since Uncle Frank can't anymore, They threw down bedding for the cows, and even went into the chicken coop to gather eggs. They had a wonderful time and kept asking what else they could do. After we visited for a bit, Uncle Frank and Aunt Bev took us over to see the new house. Right now it is gutted but they are getting it all fixed up and ready for move in. It will be nice when they are done and more accessible for them with all their health issues at this point. So we wish them the best of luck with move in and can't wait to see what the finished product looks like!
December 27th
While we were staying at Amber's house to babysit Evalyn, we got a day of snow. It starting snowing over night and had a steady downfall for most of the day. It was perfect for packing snowballs and making snowmen. The boys begged until I let them go out as you can see we were not prepared but they still made it out for about an hour. They threw snowballs at each other and even built a small snowman. But it didn't last by the next day the snow was all gone but their snowman that had shrunk down to half his original size

Amber and Evalyn making her Christmas tree
Today we made a quick trip to Walmart to get last minute things for dinner, the kids did a christmas craft, while mom sewed some of Owen's pants, and then after dinner we opened gifts. It was a very busy day and everyone was so exhausted so by the time everyone left mom and I crashed. It seemed like the holidays have just flown right by this year. It seems like we were just having the boys birthday parties and now Christmas has come and gone. Time needs to slow down just a bit. Merry Christmas from the Winter family!!

Grammy Cindy and Evalyn
Amber, Landon and Evalyn came to mom tonight to stay before Christmas. It was so great seeing them. Evalyn is growing up too fast and we don't get to see them enough. She loved the boys and they kept her busy. They played with the bucket of toys and had tons of snacks. That girl loves jello and yogurt just like the boys. Before bed we watched the Ref which is one of the many favorite Christmas movies that we love to watch. Evalyn didn't sleep well that night though. We were all up @ 4am with her making Christmas eve a very very long day.
December 21st
I didn't realize how often the trains ran past my parents house. It took me a day or two to get used to all the trains. So I had to take some pictures for a reference when we put the boys train track together that my dad got them. Just need to finish up the basement so we can set it up and get the town built.

December 17th Cupp Christmas

still opening up gifts
Great Grandmother and all the grandkidsCupp family Christmas was a success. It was nice seeing Jenn and her family and Cathy and her family. We only get to see each a couple of times a years so we look forward to these special occasions. The boys had a great time playing with their cousins and their grandparents and of course exchanging gifts. It rained most of the weekend which was a change from snow but I am thankful for that since we did a lot of traveling. WE had a great prime rib dinner and had our annual Wii tournament. Owen and I made it to the second round but ended up losing so unfortunately we did not get to bring home the trophies. Justin stayed saturday night with us but had to leave sunday to head home for work. The boys and I will miss him but we look forward to visiting with everyone for 2 weeks
December 16th Lori's Birthday Dinner
Happy Birthday to Lori!! We took her out to dinner @ El Torro's for some margueritas and tacos. We had a lovely time visiting with each other. Lori's birthday theme was coffee since she loves Coffee. She got chocolate covered espresso beans, a Kaluha gift set, coffee flavored whip creme, a bunch of different flavored coffees, and so much more!! After we closed down El Torro's we headed through McD's for some sweet tea and cokes then on to the purple store. It was a great night :)
December 15th Our Christmas
Instead of hauling all the presents we bought for the boys home we decided to let them open them before we made the trip to Indiana. They were so excited to see what they got this year that I hardly got any pictures. They tore through their presents so fast. But above are the best one I took. Merry Christmas to everyone and we hope you have a safe holiday
December 11th
Owen hanging out and playing video games before bedtime. He is so excited to be going home this weekend. He is ready to visit with everyone in Indiana :)
Ashton has mastered his pogo stick. He is showing you how he jumps with one leg and is currently trying to master doing it with now hands. I am not so sure if I like that idea but what can you do... this child is a daredevil :)
