February 14th Valentines Day!

The kids handed out their valentine's then it was on to the snacks. After having some of their homemade goodies it was game time. The kids a blast playing bingo for prizes! Who would have thought an old peoples game would be such a hit :) I think they were just excited to win the prizes!

Ashton's class Valentine Party

The kids handed out Valentines to each other then lined up for a snack. We had lots of goodies and treats for the kids. After they ate their snacks it was time for games. Mrs. Rose did a wonderful job with the games and the kids had a blast. All and all the parties were a success.

Unfortunately we were home over the weekend to attend Grandmothers funeral. It was nice to see all our relatives again but i just wish it was under better circumstances :(

January 29th Sorrow

Today we lost a very special person in our lives. She was the most loving, caring and beautiful woman I have known and She accepted me as one of her own. We love you Grandmother Carolyn Tye!! We will miss you but my you rest in peace and finally be reunited with Granddaddy!

January 27th boys enjoying a warmer day

The boys got to go outside and enjoy some fresh air since it was neither raining or really cold. They had fun playing cops & robbers and they also had a nerf war with the boy down the street. I love to sit back and watch them play. They have such wonderful and detailed imaginations :) I hate that they are growing up so fast!!

I was just messing around with Picasa Picnik and thought I would share. It is a picture of the a bird that hanging out in one of the trees in our front yard :) I had a great time testing different effects Hope you enjoy!
