May 29th Pool

 So while Justin was home over the weekend, he blew up this tube for the boys to play on in the pool.  Unfortunately I have to listen to them argue over who gets to use it.  So here is a photo of Owen knocking Ashton off of it so he can get on it :)  It takes quite a bit to push that thing over so I did get some laughs out of it!!

Here they are both on it and smiling.  So they do get along sometimes :)

Now I just need someone to build me a proper plat form for the slide.  It fits perfectly on the top of my ladder and it bolted to it but I would like a wooden structure for it :)  Hopefully I can talk Papaw Chuck into building one for me this summer!

May 25th Mrs. Bardonaro going away/baby shower

Today was her last day because she is due in 2 weeks to deliver her second baby boy!  Owen is definitely going to miss her.  Mrs. Bardonaro is a wonderful teacher and we couldn't be happier for her and her family!!

May 23rd Safety Patrol

The boys made safety patrol for next year.  They were so excited.  Owen has cross walk/porch duty.  Ashton has first, second, & third grade bus lines.  They have been shadowing the current 4th grade safety patrol students to learn their jobs.  We are so very proud of the young men they are becoming.

May 20th More Pool fun

May 14th

Enjoying a warm day in the pool.  Steve even decided to take a dip and now he is mad that he has to stay in his kennel until he dries out!!  My little fish are so happy it is summer time.  They love the water and would tend to live in it during the summer months!!  

May 13th HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Wishing all the mothers out there a wonderful and safe day!  Unfortunately mine was not off to a great start.  Ashton was up the night before every 45minutes because he was running a fever and coughing/sniffling.  Then at 6am my neighbors dogs started barking and continued to bark until 10am.  So needless to say that woke my dogs up and they had to be let out and fed but luckily my dogs went back to bed for a while and the boys slept through it.  I was the only one who could not sleep thru the barking for hours on end :(  But after the boys got  up we had donuts for breakfast and had a movie day in our jammies since it was yucky outside!!

Our little fish.  You can tell summer time has hit the Winter household by all the dirty towels and swimming trunks hanging outside on the back of our chairs.  These two boys live in the swimming pool during the summer and would in the winter time as well if it wasn't so darn cold :)

What a great group of gals (Jane is missing she had to work)!  We took Cheri out to Abuelo's for her Birthday!!  It was a great time just sitting and chatting with the gals and having a girls night out.

 their first time swimming in our pool.  The water is so freaking cold I can't believe that stayed in as long as they did.  I guess nothing bothers you when you are a kid.  They had a great time and I am happy the pool is so clear and blue so far this year.  Usually it takes me at least a month before it shapes up.  

Here is one of the 6 toads that have decided to make our pool home.  I fish them out every morning but it never fails the next day they are back.  Apparently the chlorine doesn't bother them that much.

April 28th Indiana Visit

We headed to Indiana this weekend so Justin could say Goodbye to my parents and his parents before heading to Virginia to train for his new job.  It was nice to see everyone and visit for the weekend but it was also a little sad.  We will miss Justin but we are excited for him to start his new job.  It is what he has always wanted to do and it will be great experience for him as well.
