Oh the Snow!!

So this morning we woke up to a lovely white blanket covering everything. We had breakfast got the kids dressed and headed out the door to play for a bit. Meegan, Ashley, & I walked up our street taking photos while the kids headed over to Miss Jane's yard to slide down her hill. They hit the slope as they call it until they were frozen. Then it was back inside for some hot chocolate and macaroni and cheese.

We enjoyed walking around the little shops downtown. During the winter there are not as many open but it was still nice to get out of the cabin and walk around. I found a really cute scrapbooking store but the one we wanted to go to wouldn't open until March. I am excited to see how different it will look like in the fall.

Saturday we headed into town to walk around the shops but decided to take a small detour through Brown County State Park. It was beautiful to see the park snow covered. (We have also planned another trip there for this fall) I love taking pictures outdoors and the weather had cooperated some. It was not as cold as it had been the day before and the sun was shining. I hope you all enjoy the pictures.... It is really a great place!

So last weekend I headed to Brown County IN with some girlfriends for a moms weekend. It was a blast ! We stayed at Rawhide Ranch. It was a beautiful place very rustic. We got to stay in the cabin instead of the bunk house so we had the entire place to ourselves. Angus the owners dog also became a fast friend. He would come up every morning for breakfast because he knew us ladies were suckers and would feed him. We brought tons of snacks, cards to play nertz, and some alcohol to help us unwind. Thanks to Meegan for the invite... I had a wonderful time!
