It was a beautiful ceremony followed by the reception in Lafayette. Everyone had a wonderful time helping the couple celebrate. Owen and Ashton both danced their little hearts out. Owen was so tired from getting up super early for pictures that he tuckered out first so I took him back to Mamaws while Ashton stayed and danced the night away!

The kids did a wonderful job at the wedding! Even though Owen could barely keep his eyes open and couldn't stop yawning! He sure is a handsome little guy!

Friday the 12th was the wedding rehearsal. Owen was the ring bearer so we got to go to the church and watch them practice. Owen did a wonderful job @ the practice even though he was a little shy. He walked down the isle with Tess. Tess was the flower girl. Then after they practiced where they were to stand and found the right pace to walk at we headed to the Wolcott house for dinner! The lasagna, salad, and strawberry short cake was aweseome!!

off to Kentland.....

Last week we headed to Kentland for a week to visit the grandparents and for Owen to be ring bearer in Cathy and Andy's Wedding! We had such a wonderful time seeing all of Justin's family and extended family. Plus we spent a couple of nights with my family! Dad had a couple of days off so we got to spend tons of time with him. Justin, Mom and I got to spend Sunday together..... We went to the movies to see the Expendables. Such a great movie with a lot of great actors!! It is definitely a must see! I am sorry to whomever we didn't get to see while we were in town. It is tough trying to split time between the grandparents but then with my Aunt and Uncle both not doing very well health wise put an even bigger strain on it. We are sending big hugs, kisses, and lots of well wishes to Aunt Bev and Uncle Frank in hopes that it finds them feeling better!!

The baby shower was such a hit. I would like to Thank everyone that helped me in any way to make this day so special for the Amber and Landon! I couldn't have done it alone and I hope you know how much I truly appreciate everyone's help!! THANK YOU!!

Meegan made an awesome diaper cake that got so many compliments. The cake turned out beautiful and was delicious! We had tons of great food and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Amber and Landon got so many wonderful gifts for Evalyn! It really was a spectacular day.

While visiting Amber, Meegan and I took some pregnancy photos of her! She had just entered his finaly trimester of her pregnancy and has that beautiful glow about her. It was fun and hopefully Amber enjoys them! It is such a wonderful time for her and hopefully this will help her keep these memories forever! She really is enjoying being pregnant and they both will make wonderful parents. Congratulations to the both of them and we are counting down the days until Miss Evalyn arrives!

Visiting Amber & Landon

Meegan and I headed to Amber's house the first weekend in August to give her a baby shower! The trip there was nice besides the fact that we ended up rerouted (thanks to me) into a town that had every freaking road closed to thru traffic. We are still not sure why the heck all the roads were closed but we finally made it to the road that we needed to get on!! So that set us a little behind but it was a great night any way. Thanks to Berb and Landon for putting up with us and laughing all weekend long :)

So this past week has been busy. I got the laundry done, house cleaned, the boys clothes sorted thru, beds switched around, and the pool cleaned. I hopefully have everything I need for the baby shower this coming weekend. The boys are enjoying swimming and hanging out before the new school year starts. We have been trying to hit up as many of our local Metro parks as we can as well as any other outdoor activities to keep the kids busy and outdoors :) Next week we are going back to normal bedtimes to help prepare for school. It is going to be rough especially since Owen loves to stay up with me. He is my movie buddy @ night and I am sure going to miss that. Ashton tries to stay up but as soon as his head hits the couch he is out like a light. I have really enjoyed my time with them this summer but I am looking forward to them starting school. They have changed so much already this year and it seems like time is just flying by so fast. I can't believe they will be in second grade! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and have a great week!
