Fun Friday!!

The boys are excited that today is friday because they have 2 days with no school. They are also looking forward to seeing Casey, Tessa & Makenna this weekend. They are coming to spend the night with us on Saturday so we can all visit together.

It is going to be busy weekend. We are going to be getting things ready to take to the new house Monday after we sign the papers. And to get the house ready for us to move in on Wednesday. We are excited and looking forward to getting settled in our house. Then getting the boys signed up for their new school and settled into a new routine. They are excited about moving into their new rooms but afraid that they won't have any friends. I explained that they are kids living on our street and as soon as we move in they will be able to go & meet them. Wish us luck for a smooth transition.

Outdoor fun

Today was a little warmer so the boys headed to the playground by our house. They had a great time playing with some of the boys from our neighborhood. It always looks a little rough to me but Justin said it is because I am a girl. I can't help it, I am the mom and I don't want them to get hurt. We love them to death and I am just going to have to get used to the fact that they want always want MOM around!

2 Peas in a Pod

What a handful these two can be but we would not have it any other way. As Mondays go they hopped off the bus and ran for home. They preceded to tell me how their days went and what they had for lunch (now doubt their favorite part besides recess). Then we did homework and they shot out the door like lightning to play with the neighbor boy. I have never met 2 boys that just go go go and seem to have an endless burst of energy. I am having a hard time keeping up with them and they love to tell me it is because I am old. I got them to stand still long enough to take a picture for the blog. Hope you enjoy!

Pre-Inspection

After a long lazy weekend, I am getting back in the swing of cleaning. Today is our Pre-Inspection with housing so I am not looking forward to that. Just thought I would get on here and update the blog before I start cleaning. The house countdown has begun. Only 9 more days until we are going to move into the new house. The boys are excited about getting their new rooms but not too excited about leaving their friends. I agree a little with them. I am excited about buying a new house and finally settling into our own but I will definitely miss our friends. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Moving forward

Well we have the moving people coming tomorrow to take a look at how much stuff we have. The actual move dates are set for the 3rd of March thru the 5th of March. I have the pre-inspection with WPAFB housing on next Monday and then we final out of housing on March 9th. So almost everything is set. We just have to sign the papers on the house so we can enroll the boys at their new school. Things are moving through the process finally and I am finally starting to relax a bit. Now the real fun will start with packing, painting, cleaning, and moving. Wish us luck :)

Boys, Boys, Boys

So today was a busy day. I painted most of the kitchen and went through some things to get rid of stuff before the movers come. Owen had a field trip to Boonshoft Museum with his class. He said he had a great time checking everything out and playing with all the stuff there. Ashton said he had a good day too. They had some kind of races today and he said he picked his two friends to be with him. They were both feeling better today because they have been wild and crazy since they have been home. I love them to death but sometimes they get on my last nerve. Kids , you gotta love them:)

Happy Presidents Day!!

We are putting in our 30 day notice to housing and have set the closing date for March 2nd. We are so excited but dreading the move. You never realize how much stuff you accumulate until you go to move it. Luckily we are moving into a bigger house so everything will fit. I will be happy when it is all over and we are settled. I am looking forward to the boys not having to change schools anymore, not having to leave their friends behind, and we are still close to our families.

The boys and I will be celebrating Presidents day with a movie marathon!! It is cold outside so we thought it would be best to curl up on the couch together with a bowl of popcorn and watch movies. We each take a turn picking a movie to watch. Hope everyone had a great Valentine weekend and a great week.
