And so it begins....

Well our first week in the house has been exciting to say the least. We met our neighbors, got the boys started in the new school, set up the house, snaked all the pipes, had the Roto Rooter guy out last night until 11pm to cut tree roots out of the line to the sewer because it was backing up in the basement, got a new stove, light fixtures, and set up the Heating people to put in the new heat pump (which they will begin Monday) and scheduled the Chimney people to look at the fire places. It has only been a week and I am beginning to feel like the whole world is coming down around us. Oh the joys of owning a home. Wish a luck and pray that things get better next week. I am also including some pictures of the house that is somewhat finished. I still need to wipe down walls and decide on a new color scheme but at least the room is put together.
