Another hard days work....

This morning it rained for a bit so the Chimney men were unable to get here again. I am beginning to wonder if it is ever going to be fixed. Anyway, since Justin had the day off today we were going to pull the stumps up beside the garage. Well we ended up hooking the winch to the first one and it took about 45 minutes to get it out between winching and taking the ax to it. Poor Justin is so exhausted. Justin also decided to trim the Evergreen tree beside the driveway. He cleared out all the low branches but left enough steps for the kids to play on. (the boys freaked by the way when they got home for school & I think every kid on our block had a heart attack when they saw what he did to their climbing tree) Needless to say I got stuck raking A LOT of needles, broken limbs, pine cones, & garbage that had blown or been left by the previous owners. I am happy to say though that it looks nice and the kids are happy that they still have limbs to climb on. So the next step is to clear the front of the house & the other 2 stumps. Wish us luck!
